'It's A Delight' celebrates the everyday moments that bring us together and make life meaningful. This EP has been a real passion project for me, and I've had the chance to collaborate with incredible artists KSR, Alice Auer and Aaron Wood to bring it to life.

Hello World
My debut album ‘Hello World’ is out now on all platforms with Band on the Wall Recordings.
‘Hello World’ is an audio catalogue of personal experiences, thoughts and feelings, shared with honesty and curiosity for the human condition.
From the initial key flourishes of first single and LP opener ‘Who Cares’, ‘Hello World’ embeds the listener in a technicolour world of rich melodies, crisp instrumentation and meditative grooves.
Over its eleven track duration, the album channels calming sonics, passionate playing and an optimistic, playful outlook whilst offering moments of reflection and calm.

Savvy
‘Savvy’ is out now on all platforms; the third single from my debut album ‘Hello World’ with Band on the Wall Recordings.
The track’s fast-paced energy brings with it a playful and adventurous outlook, with harmonic keys & bass intertwining over a syncopated beat. Watery Rhodes chords pave the way for a mood-elevating saxophone section before returning to the opening theme.

Inner Peace

My second single of 2022 is a collaboration with multi-instrumentalist and producer, Natty Reeves. Throughout the track, Natty’s Spanish guitar and piano interweave and bring a new outlook to jazz collaboration. As the track develops, the direction of the music changes through raw improvisations on guitar and on piano, with synth textures interplaying to create a foundation for the rest of the track to shine.

Better Worlds
My first release of 2022 ‘Better Worlds’ is a collaboration with French duo Kissamilé, exploring the fusion between jazz and hip-hop with Root Records via DeepMatter.
The collaboration began with a piano theme which evolved as the artists exchanged ideas, inspired by hope for a better world with collaboration, creativity and sustainability at its heart.
A percussive and melodic cascading piano solo is at the heart of the track, alongside a stunning jazz-inspired guitar solo that rounds off the track.

‘Remote Planet’ looks at life from a different perspective with a curiosity for the uncontainable wonders of the universe. The ascending piano melodies and analogue synths lift the tune like the weightlessness of space. Rosie Turton’s trombone provides a grounded melodic counterpoint alongside Oscar Ogden’s pocketed drums and rich piano chords, which ebb and flow before bringing the listener back to earth as the track comes to a close.

Beaches Waving

‘Beaches Waving’ blends jazz and hip hop with its harmonically rich keys, improvised melodies and pocketed drums. Reflecting on the daily motion of our lives and the restorative qualities of nature, ‘Beaches Waving’ is reminiscent of sunny days and crashing waves of the beach which say “hello” from afar whilst we are all stuck inside. The interplay between upright piano and Natty Reeves’ guitar ebbs and flows like the changing of the tides as both artists improvise solos accompanied by analogue synths and bass.

Dilla Impresses Me
‘Dilla Impresses Me’ is out now on all platforms with Root Records via DeepMatter.
'Dilla Impresses Me’ pays homage to Dilla’s unique off the grid groove, which I discovered as a teenager after listening to Dilla on repeat. This was a catalyst for my obsession with jazz as I heard new perspectives, layers and textures in Dilla’s music which developed like characters in a story. This cyclical effect is revealed in this track through the straightforward piano, hazy trombone, grounded bass and pocketed drums.

Believe in Things
My debut EP ‘Believe in Things’ was released in May 2021 with Root Records via DeepMatter.
'Believe in Things' is centred around the piano, exploring textures and colours which depict the beauty in simple things and the relationship between earth, nature and space. Born out of the challenges society has faced as a result of Covid-19, 'Believe in Things' is a real-time documentation of the hope, discovery and uncertainty experienced during Covid-19. The improvised piano tells a story of believing in the unimaginable and unearthing the extraordinary. The songs portray a sense of determination and optimism for a better future.
